This quick painting guess the result of an afternoon of spiritual angst as I was deeply chewing the cud, one could say, over a situation affecting me. And so skewed out my angst in oil and turpentine onto the canvas envisioning my life and others as being a spiritual battle within myself, others involved and from without. Accordingly after a short time this was the result and incredibly to me I was asked by a number of people if prints were available - it certainly wasn’t the primary reason I painted what to me was intended as simply my spilling my spiritual and emotional guts into the canvas with a limited palette. But if it spoke to others in their journey, I guess that’s great!
